Checheno-Ingush Autonomous Oblast
Checheno-Ingush Autonomous Oblast (Russian: Чечено-Ингушская автономная область) was an autonomous oblast of the Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, created on January 15, 1934 by merging the Chechen and Ingush Autonomous Oblasts.[1]
