Desulfurococcales

The Desulfurococcales are an order of the Thermoprotei, part of the kingdom Archaea.[1] The order encompasses some genera which are all thermophilic, autotrophs which utilise chemical energy, typically by reducing sulfur compounds using hydrogen. [2]
