Eve Bar

Eve Bar is a cocktail bar owned by Adam Handling and is located in the basement of Frog by Adam Handling in Covent Garden.[1] Eve Bar was Adam Handling’s first venture into the bar scene. The team applies their signature ethos of zero-waste to everything they do at the bar, utilising as many offcuts that come from the kitchen upstairs as possible to make their innovative beverages. It was awarded Cocktail List of the Year at the 2019 National Restaurant Awards.[2][3]

History

Eve Bar opened in September 2017 and is situated beneath Frog by Adam Handling. Part of the Adam Handling Restaurant Group, the Group’s other restaurants and bars include The Loch & the Tyne; located in the countryside of Old Windsor and Ugly Butterfly; situated on the Carbis Bay Estate in St. Ives.[4][5][6]

Josh Linfitt was promoted to Bar Director of the Group in 2023 and is now responsible for overseeing all existing bars.[7][8][9]

The 2023 menu at Eve Bar showcases the key methods that the team uses in their lab to create original cocktails: carbonation, clarification, distillation, fermentation and freezing, dedicating a section to each.[10][11] Eve Bar uses these methods to utilise offcuts that come from Frog’s restaurant kitchen, like the roasted beef bones used in a Bone Marrow Martini.[12][13] To amplify the experience, you will find a selection of artwork on display at Eve from Courty. Courty describes his aesthetic as an exploration of light, colour, and the written word, and his work consistently pushes the boundaries of handmade neon light in the world of art and sculpture.[14]
