Ezhiyeh District

Ezhiyeh District (Persian: بخش اژیه) is in Harand County, Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Ezhiyeh.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as a part of the former Jolgeh District of Isfahan County) was 3,895 in 4,062 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 4,062 people in 1,263 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 3,716 inhabitants in 1,250 households.[2]

The district was separated from Isfahan County in 2021 to become Harand County. The new county was divided into two districts, with two rural districts and one city each, and the city of Harand was chosen as its capital.[3]
