Harand County

Harand County (Persian: شهرستان هرند) is in Isfahan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Harand.[3]

At the 2006 census, the region's population (as the former Jolgeh District of Isfahan County) was 19,527 in 5,313 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 20,547 people in 6,245 households.[5] At the 2016 census, there were 21,257 people in 6,871 households.[2]

The district was separated from Isfahan County in 2021 to become Harand County. The new county was divided into two districts, with two rural districts and one city each, and the city of Harand was chosen as its capital.[3]
