Falard Rural District

Falard Rural District (Persian: دهستان فلارد) is in the Central District of Falard County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kalvari-ye Sofla.[3]

Not to be confused with Falard County or Falard District.

At the census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Falard District of Lordegan County) was 18,723 in 3,816 households;[4] there were 19,671 inhabitants in 4,914 households at the following census of 2011;[5] and in the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 19,918 in 5,589 households. The largest of its 34 villages was Shahriar, with 2,076 people.[2]

Falard District was separated from the county in 2022 and became Falard County, with two districts and Mal-e Khalifeh as its capital.[3]
