Samsami

Samsami (Persian: صمصامي, also Romanized as Şamşāmī)[3] is a city in Doab Samsami District of Kuhrang County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 354 in 69 households, when it was a village in Doab Rural District of Bazoft District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 491 people in 100 households, by which time it was in the newly formed Doab Samsami District.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,203 people in 365 households; it had been elevated to the status of a city.[2] The city is populated by Lurs.[6]
