Farahabad-e Jonubi Rural District
Farahabad-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان فرحآباد جنوبی) is in Rudpey-ye Shomali District of Sari County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Panbeh Chuleh-ye Pain. Prior to the formation of the rural district, its constituent villages were in Rudpey-ye Shomali Rural District of Rudpey District.[3]

At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,826 in 1,846 households, by which time Rudpey-ye Shomali Rural District had been separated from the district, elevated to the status of a district, and divided into two rural districts. The largest of its 13 villages was Esfandan, with 973 people, the same reported for the rural district's capital.[2]
