Gafr Rural District

Gafr Rural District (Persian: دهستان گافر) is in Gafr and Parmon District of Bashagard County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Sit.[3]

Not to be confused with Gafr and Parmon District.

At the National Census of 2011, its population was 3,220 in 893 households.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,808 in 762 households. The largest of its 34 villages was Akharan, with 334 people.[2]
