Hasan Langi-ye Bala

Hasan Langi-ye Bala (Persian: حسن لنگي بالا, also Romanized as Ḩasan Langī-ye Bālā; also known as Gazakī-ye Ḩasanlangī)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Hasan Langi Rural District of Shamil Rural District, Shamil District, Bandar Abbas County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,739 in 375 households, when it was in Shamil Rural District of Takht District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,914 people in 469 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,943 people in 538 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Shamil District, which was divided into two rural districts.[4]
