Jowkar District

Jowkar District (Persian: بخش جوکار) is in Malayer County, Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Jowkar.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 52,445 in 12,332 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 50,487 people in 13,875 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 37,046 inhabitants in 11,326 households.[2]
