Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo
The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo (Albanian: Kuvendi i Republikës së Kosovës; Serbian: Скупштина Републике Косово, romanized: Skupština Republike Kosovo) is the unicameral legislature of the Republic of Kosovo that is directly elected by the people every four years. It was originally established by the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo in 2001[8] to provide 'provisional, democratic self-government'. On February 17, 2008, representatives of the people of Kosovo[9] unilaterally declared Kosovo's independence and subsequently adopted the Constitution of Kosovo, which came into effect on 15 June 2008.

Members
The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is regulated by the Constitution of Kosovo and has 120 directly-elected members; 20 are reserved for national minorities as follows:
- 10 seats for the representatives of the Serbs.
- 4 seats for the representatives of the Romani, Ashkali and Egyptians.
- 3 seats for the Bosniaks.
- 2 seats for the Turks.
- 1 seat for the Gorans.[10]
Albanian is the official language of the majority, but all languages of minorities such as Serbian, Turkish and Bosnian are used, with simultaneous interpretation.

The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in this legislature has a total of fourteen committees,[6] the number of committees varies depending on the legislature.

- The date of establishment coincides with the date of the assembly first session.
- As the parliamentary leader of the multiethnic group.
- At the moment when the government was voted, even though they were part of it, they voted against it.[1] On 7 November 2022, during 2022 North Kosovo crisis, all Serb List MPs resigned,[2] but ten days after resignation they decided to return to the Assembly with other new MPs.[3]
- Vetëvendosje MPs, Haki Abazi[4] and Fatmir Humolli[5] have left Vetëvendosje due to dissatisfaction with their party.
- Romani Initiative MP is recognized by the assembly as MP without parliamentary group, since a minimum of six MPs is needed to create a parliamentary group.
