Kuhdasht-e Jonubi Rural District (Persian: دهستان کوهدشت جنوبی) is in the Central District of Kuhdasht County, Lorestan province, Iran.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 16,923 in 3,445 households.[3] There were 16,981 inhabitants in 3,989 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 16,907 in 4,623 households. The largest of its 56 villages was Shahrak-e Emam Khomeyni, with 2,908 people.[2]
