Kukherd Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوخرد) is in Kukherdharang District (formerly Kukherd District)[3] of Bastak County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kukherd.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,950 in 1,206 households.[4] There were 7,356 inhabitants in 1,870 households at the following census of 2011.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,264 in 2,313 households. The largest of its 21 villages was Kukherd, with 4,390 people.[2]
