Maria De Matteis
Maria De Matteis (6 March 1898 – 9 December 1988) was an Italian costume designer. She worked on more than 90 screen and stage productions throughout her career, which spanned over four decades. Among other accolades, De Matteis was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Costume Design, Color for War and Peace (1956), and won the BAFTA Award for Best Costume Design for Waterloo (1970).
