Meerut Metro
The Meerut Metro (Hindi: मेरठ मेट्रो) is an under-construction rapid transit system in the city of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. The feasibility study of the project was completed by RITES in June 2015. Since the government has merged line 1 of the Meerut metro into RRTS, it is likely to be completed around 2025 (Phase 1) with RRTS project. This will save at least 6500 crore rupees.
