Meshkan District (Persian: بخش مشکان) is in Khoshab County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Meshkan.

At the 2006 National Census, its population (as a part of the former Khoshab District of Sabzevar County) was 10,607 in 2,660 households.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 10,569 people in 2,922 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khoshab County.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 10,012 inhabitants in 3,199 households.[2]

After the 2016 census, the village of Meshkan was elevated to the status of a city.[5]
