Molkabad (Persian: ملك آباد, also Romanized as Molkābād)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Ahmadabad District of Mashhad County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,161 in 302 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,487 people in 406 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,056 people in 620 households.[2]
