Parthenice is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae.[1][2][3][4]

There is only one known species, Parthenice mollis,[5] the annual monsterwort,[6] native to Arizona (Pima, Santa Cruz, + Cochise Counties)[7] and northwestern Mexico (Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, Baja California Sur).
