Post Proper Northside, Makati
Post Proper Northside, also known as Post Proper North or Barangay 30, is one of the barangays of Makati, a city in Metro Manila, Philippines. It consists of most of Bonifacio Global City which is under the de facto administration of neighboring Taguig, that claims it as its own territory under its own barangay Fort Bonifacio, as well as a small area north of the business district which includes the Makati City Jail.[2] In April 2023, the barangay was placed under the de jure jurisdiction of Taguig, with an official transition and handover from Makati to Taguig expected to happen.[3][4]

Geography
The administrative division claims an area of 2.376 square kilometers (0.917 sq mi).[5] The entire area is currently under the de jure jurisdiction of Taguig, mostly under its barangay Fort Bonifacio, while the remaining small area is under the de facto control of Makati, located between barangays Cembo and West Rembo. Most of Bonifacio Global City is covered by the barangay, although it is officially a part of barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
Demographics
As per the 2020 census by the Philippine Statistics Authority, the barangay has a population of 57,940, making it the second most populous barangay of Makati.[6]
Notes
- Established as a barangay under Makati. Only portions are under de facto control of Makati.
- Areas covered by Post Proper Northside is ruled by the Supreme Court as part of Taguig. Overlaps with Taguig's Fort Bonifacio barangay.
