Ramsheh

Ramsheh (Persian: رامشه, also Romanized as Rāmsheh and Rāmshah; also known as Rūm Shāh)[3] is a village in Ramsheh Rural District of Jarqavieh Olya District, Jarqavieh County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,579 in 770 households, when it was in Isfahan County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,676 people in 854 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,131 people in 1,030 households. It was the largest village in its rural district.[2]

The district was separated from Isfahan County in 2021 in the establishment of Jarqavieh County, with the city of Nikabad as its capital.[6][7]
