Background

In 2016, Sia released her album This Is Acting, which comprised mostly songs she wrote for other artists.[2] The following year, she directed Music, a musical drama film which she also wrote.[3] Also writing 10 songs for the film, she announced in February 2020 that she had two new albums "waiting to go",[4] one of which would be her version of the soundtrack.[5] Titled Music – Songs from and Inspired by the Motion Picture, it was released in February 2021 along with the film.[6] In a 2020 interview with Zach Sang, Sia stated that the other album would be titled Reasonable Woman.[7]

Promotion

The album's lead single "Gimme Love" was released on 13 September 2023.[8]
