Rudzir (Persian: رودزير, also Romanized as Rūdzīr)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Rudzir Rural District of Alad District, Seydun County, Khuzestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,126 in 210 households, when it was in Seydun-e Jonubi Rural District of the former Seydun District, Bagh-e Malek County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,185 people in 221 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 890 people in 205 households.[2]

In February 2023, the district was separated from the county, elevated to the status of Seydun County, and divided into two districts of two rural districts each. The city of Seydun became the new county's capital and only city.[4]
