Satoshi Nakajima
Satoshi Nakajima (中嶋 聡, Nakajima Satoshi) is a Japanese former professional baseball player and current manager of the Orix Buffaloes of Nippon Professional Baseball. He was born on March 27, 1969. He debuted in 1987.[1] Nakajima became the manager for the Orix Buffaloes in 2020, replacing Norifumi Nishimura, and lead the team to two consecutive Pacific League pennants and 2 Japan Series appearances before winning in 2022.[2][3]

His efforts to help turn around the Buffaloes from a basement dweller to a Japan Series champion gave him the Matsutaro Shoriki Award in 2022.[4]
