Tazehabad (Persian: تازه اباد, also Romanized as Tāzehābād)[3] is a village in Kheyrud Kenar Rural District of the Central District of Nowshahr County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,735 in 737 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,503 people in 1,078 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 5,029 people in 1,586 households; it was the largest village in its rural district.[2]
