Madia entered the Colorno youth team at the age of seven, but had to stop at thirteen because the company did not have a women's team. She resumed her training at the age of 16 when this program was established by the Parmigiano club  .[1]

In 2016, she was added to the national team in which she made her debut in Bologna (two minutes from the end taking over from Maria Grazia Cioffi ) in the third match on the calendar, a 22–7 victory against Scotland, which qualified Italy, for the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup.[2]

As captain of Colorno she led the team to the 2016–17 final, which was won 32-0 by Valsugana.[3] She was part of the national squad for the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup in Ireland, in which Italy finished ninth.

She competed at the 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship.[4] and 2022 Women's Six Nations Championship.[5]

In 2023, she competed with the Italy U20 Women's Rugby Union team.[6] At the 2023 Women's Six Nations Championship, she started against France.
