Wild Horse, Nevada

Wild Horse is an unincorporated community in Elko County, Nevada, United States.[1] It is located along Nevada State Route 225 just south of Wild Horse Reservoir, from which it derives its name.

Climate

According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Wild Horse has a warm-summer mediterranean continental climate, abbreviated "Dsb" on climate maps. The hottest temperature recorded in Wild Horse was 102 °F (38.9 °C) on July 23, 2003, while the coldest temperature recorded was −42 °F (−41.1 °C) on December 23, 1990 and February 3, 1996.[2]
