Zilayi District

Zilayi District (Persian: بخش زیلائی) is in Margown County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Mushemi.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, the region's population (as a part of the former Margown District of Boyer-Ahmad County) was 11,041 in 2,163 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 10,595 people in 2,316 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, there were 9,343 inhabitants in 2,246 households.[2]

In October 2018, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Margown County.[3]
