Mechercharimyces asporophorigenens

Mechercharimyces asporophorigenens is a bacterium from the genus of Mechercharimyces which has been isolated from sediments from Palau.[1][3][4] Mechercharimyces asporophorigenens produces the cytotoxic substance urukthapelstatin A.[5][6]
