La siguiente es una lista de las locomotoras producidas por la Electro-Motive Corporation (EMC), y sus sucesoras, la General Motors Electro-Motive Division (GM-EMD) y la Electro-Motive Diesel (EMD).

Coches motor aerodinámicos y primeras locomotoras experimentales

EMC participó en la construcción de varios coches motor ferroviarios, integrando trenes aerodinámicos y locomotoras experimentales al inicio de la era de la aerodinámica a principios de la década de 1930. Muchos de estos eran unidades de producción única que fueron usados por un solo ferrocarril. La gran mayoría de los motores primarios eran Winton y el generador, control y transmisión eran de General Electric, dentro de una carrocería que se subcontrataba a otros fabricantes, debido a que EMC no tenía capacidad de fabricar sus propios cuerpos hasta 1936.
