Name

  • Achrysocharoides asperulus Hansson, 2012
Holotype: INBio, ♀.
Type locality: “Costa Rica: Heredia, 16 km SSE La Virgen, 1050–1150 m, 10°16'N, 84°05'W, 9–29.iii.2001, 11/M/NOTN, INBio.OET-ALAS intersect”.
Etymology: From the Latin asper = rough, in its diminutive form = asperulus, referring to the strong reticulation on thoracic dorsum.
