- Holotype: MHNSM 18218, adult ♂, collected by J. Icochea on 11 October 1997.
- Type locality: “Campamento Segakiato, c. 340 m asl, Río Camisea, District of Echarate, Province of La Convención, Region of Cusco, Peru”.
- Paratypes (3): MHNSM 18221 collected at Campamento Konkariari, Río Urubamba, by Javier Icochea on 21 October 1997; MHNSM 18220, collected at Cashiriari II by Alfredo Portilla on 11 October 1998; and MHNSM 18229 collected at Cashiriari III by Eliana Quispitupac on 1 September 1998.
