Syntypes (2): ZMH. [destroyed on July 1943 during WWII fide Hahn (1980)]

Neotype: MNHN 1964.139, ♂, collected by R. Pujol. [designated by Villiers (1968: 1308)]

Type locality: “Kamerun”, redesignated by neotype designation to “Boukoko, Rép. Centrafricaine” by Villiers (1968: 1308).
