Name

Akrav israchanani Levy, 2007

Holotype: Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel, accession number HUJsc. 2673.

Paratypes: Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel, accession numbers HUJsc. 2674−2679.

Type locality: Ayalon Cave, Central District, Israel.

Etymology: A combination, derived from Israel as terra typica and a patronym in honor of Israel Na'aman, who collected the type material, and Israeli zoologist Chanan Dimentman.
