Alburnoides namaki Bogutskaya & Coad, 2009

  • Holotype: CMNFI 1979-0461.
  • Paratypes: CMNFI 1979-0461A (188).

Type locality: Qanat at Taveh, 35°07'N, 49°02'E, Hamadan, Iran, elevation 1640 meters.

Etymology: of Namak Lake basin, Iran, where it is endemic to a qanat (underground water channel). (From The ETYFish project)
