Name

Holotype: QCAZ 9667, adult ♂.

Type locality: “Provincia de Azuay, Ecuador, 1900 m; 02°53’42”S; 79°24’19”W ”.

Etymology: The name is a patronym for David A. Kizirian, the author's friend and colleague, in recognition of his contribution to the knowledge of Riama diversity.
