Holotype: NMNH, ♀.
Type locality: Malaysia, Pahang, Cameron Highlands, Arcadia, trail 3, 4°28’55.2”N, 101°23’16.8"E, 1550 m, 21.–23.v.2005, W. Maddison, D. Li, I. Agnarsson, J. X. Zhang.
Etymology: The species epithet is a noun in apposition, and is a patronym after the author's mother Linda Wendel.
