Name

Apterichtus klazingai (Weber, 1913)

  • Syntypes: ZMA 104147-48 (1, 1).

Type locality: Banda [Indonesia, Banda Sea, western Pacific], Siboga station 240, depth 9-45 meters.

Etymology: in honor of M. D. Klazinga, the brave (“vaillaint”) chief mechanical officer of the Siboga, to whom the expedition, which collected type, owes much, (from The ETYFish Project).
