Archaeodobenus akamatsui Tanaka & Kohno, 2015
Type locality: "collected as a float near the Rutaka Bridge on the Tobetsu River ... 1.5 km south and also down stream from Aoyama dam in Tobetsu-cho, Ishikari-gun, Hokkaido, Japan".
Holotype: UHR 33282
Eponymy: Morio Akamatsu, "curator emeritus of the Hokkaido Museum" [Tanaka & Kohno, 2015]
