Type locality: "collected from a calcareous concretion occurring as float in the Kiyokawa Hidarimata Valley of the Uttsu River, Enbetsu Town [Teshio District], Hokkaido, Japan".
Holotype: NMV-56 [Nakagawa Museum of Natural History, Hokkaido]
