- Holotype: MHNC 5391 (field number 4639), adult ♂, collected by I. De la Riva, J.M. Padial, S. Castroviejo-Fisher and J.C. Chaparro on 20 February 2006.
- Type locality: “San Miguel, Valle de Marcapata, Province Quispicanchis, Departamento Cusco, Peru, 13°24′14.1″ S, 70°53′57.7″ W, 1155 m a.s.l.”
