- Holotype: MNRJ 27369, adult ♂, collected by R.N. Feio, F.R. Melo and P.M. Andrade between 24-28 September 2000.
- Type locality: “Brasil: Minas Gerais: Município de Salto da Divisa (16°00′ S, 39°57′ W, 142 m de altitude), Fazenda Alto Cariri”.
