Boiga beddomei (Wall, 1909)

Lectotype: BMNH 69.8.28.123, adult ♀, collected by Dr. Leith, date unknown. [designated by Ganesh et al. (2020: 308).
Type locality: “Ceylon and Western Ghats”, restricted by lectotype designation to “Matheran”, Maharashtra, India, by Ganesh et al. (2020: 308).

Boiga ranawanei Samarawickrama, Samarawickrama, Wijesena & Orlov, 2005: 216 [synonymised by Manamendra-Arachchi & Pethiyagoda (2007: 124); status uncertain fide Vogel & Ganesh (2013) and Ganesh et al. (2020)]
- Holotype: NMSL 2005.17.1, ♂, collected by V.A.M.P.K. Samarawickrama on 20 October 2004.
- Type locality: “Bulawaththa, Gannoruwa Forest, Kandy District, Central Province, Sri Lanka” (07°17′16″N 80°35′36″E, altitude 640 m a.s.l.).
