- Type locality: TURKEY: Antalya, W Kemer, road to Ovacik, Quercus litter, 325 m, 36°36′18N, 30°38′38E.
- Holotype: Volker Assing private collection , ♂, 2.IV.2002, V. ASSING.
- Etymology: The specific epithet (Latin, adjective: straight) alludes to the straight internal tube of the aedeagus, the most conspicuous character distinguishing this species from the closely related B. bella.
