Holotype: UCR 22842, adult ♀, collected by Brian Kubicki, in the company of Maximo Flores and Aura Reyes on 22 March 2013.
Type locality: “Costa Rica: Provincia de Limón: Cantón de Turrialba: Distrito de Chirripó: in the vicinity of Moravia de Chirripó, ca. 1300 m a.s.l.”.
