- Type locality: “Rio Grande Rise, Southwest Atlantic, 31°7′3.36″S 34°1′48.72″W, 1,022–1,013 m depth”.
- Etymology: Named after Angel Perez.

Native distribution areas
- Southwest Atlantic: known only from its type locality in the Rio Grande Rise, 1,022–1,013 m depth.
