Apterichtus equatorialis (Myers & Wade, 1941)

Type locality: North of Barrington Island, Galápagos Islands, 0°43'S, 90°01'W, depth 73 fathoms.

Etymology: From equatorial, referring to type locality north of Barrington Island, Galapagos, near equator, (from The ETYFish Project).
