Name

Holotype: MNHN -RA-0.138, adult indet., collected by F. Péron and C.A. Lesueur (N.T. Baudin Géographe Voyage) between 1800–1804.

Type locality: unknown. Landfalls during the Péron and Lesueur voyage include Mauritius, Australia and Timor fide Wallach & Pauwels (2008: 121).
