Gonorhynchus periyarensis (Menon & Jacob, 1996)
- Holotype: SRS/ZSI F.3508.
- Paratypes: SRS/ZSI F.3509 (3).
Type locality: Periyar River, Thanikkudy (Thekkady), Kerala State, South India.
Etymology: named after its type locality, the Periyar River.
