Dendrochirus tuamotuensis Matsunuma & Motomura, 2013

  • Holotype (unique): BPBM 37140.

Type locality: Makemo Atoll, Tuamotu Archipelago, French Polynesia, 16°34′12″S, 143°27′06″W , 120 m depth.

Etymology: The specific name tuamotuensis is derived from the name of the type locality of the species, the Tuamotu Archipelago.
